Government of Canada invests in the organization Les Loisirs Montcalm Inc.

The Honourable Denis Lebel, Minister of Transport, Infrastructure and Communities and Minster of the Economic Development Agency of Canada for the Regions of Quebec, announced that the organization Les Loisirs Montcalm Inc. will be granted financial assistance to improve and refurbish its existing buildings, which are accessible to the public.

Les Loisirs Montcalm Inc. is a private company categorized under Community Center and located in Quebec, QC, Canada.

“Our Government is pleased to announce that it is supporting several excellent projects in Quebec,” said Minister Lebel. “Families and communities throughout the province will benefit from these initiatives, which will stimulate economic growth and leave a legacy of sustainable community facilities for future generations.”

G&B Fabrication Inc. modernizes operations with support from the Federal Government


The Honourable Bernard Valcourt, Associate Minister of National defence and Minister of State (Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency) (La Francophone) announced a federal investment in G&B Fabrication Inc. in Saint-Joseph-de-Madawaska.

 “Our government is focused on what matters to Canadians: job creation, economic growth and long term prosperity,” said Minister Valcourt. “That is why we are proud to invest in G&B Fabrication, a steadily growing company since its inception, which will continue to increase its productivity and improve the safety of its employees with the support of our government.”

“The investment of both the federal and provincial governments in our business will allow us to acquire equipments that will improve our productivity and the quality of our work.” said Bruno Levasseur, co-owner of G&B Fabrication. “The purchase of this new equipment will help us better satisfy our clientele, take on new projects and work more efficiently in a safer environment.

The Federal Government has invested more than $31, 000 repayable contributions through ACOA’s Business Development Program.

Government of Canada grants financial assistance to ADRIQ

The honourable Denis Label, Minister of Transport, Infrastructure and Communities and Minister of the Economic Development Agency of Canada for the Regions of Quebec, announces that the firm “Association for the development of research and innovation in Quebec (ADRIQ)” has been granted financial assistance.

Government Grants & Contributions – Elgin, New Brunswick

Canadian Syrup Inc. is a processing company that has been producing 100% pure maple syrup since 1869. The company name was originally Steeves Maples.

“The Government of New Brunswick recognizes the importance of the maple syrup industry as a contributor to the province’s economy,” Steeves said. The Government of New Brunswick has invested over $240,000 in the form of an unconditionally repayable contribution to support the purchase equipment. They hope to improve productivity and start producing new products.

Government Grant & Contribution – Quebec

Promotion Saguenay Inc.  is an autonomous corporation which is mostly financed by Ville de Saguenay.
Their mission consists in promoting Saguenay’s economic development at the industrial level as well as at the commercial and touristic levels.
The government of Canada will invest a $440,000 non-repayable government grant, a total investment of $880,000.
With the government grant, the company will enlarge the Theatre du Palais municipal, acquiring a laser projection system for the show La Fabuleuse Histoire d’un Royaume, and equipping Agesilas-Lepage Wharf (the Saguenay port of call at La Baie) with a drinking water supply and wastewater treatment system.
