Flowers Canada Growers (FGC) organization represents floriculture greenhouse growers and industry partners across Canada. Flowers Canada Growers is a technologically advanced and dynamic industry, which is one of the largest sectors in horticulture today.
Many floral
products are exported, generating over $435 million in revenue. There are over
1000 growers in Canada, covering 846 hectares of land.
The government of
Canada provides a $382,000 government grant through the Agri Marketing program,
Canadian Agriculture Adaption program from Agriculture and Agri Food Canada
(AAFC).
