`Government of Canada invests in La Route des Mille et une Histoires Inc.

The Honourable Denis Lebel, Minister of Transport, Infrastructure and Communities and Minister of Economic Development Agency of Canada for the Regions of Quebec, announced that the organization La Route des Mille et une Histoires Inc. will be granted financial assistance.
“As this support for the development of La Route des Mille et une Histoires illustrates, the Government of Canada encourages projects that help diversify the economy of Quebec’s regions, in this case through tourism development,” said Minister Lebel.
 La Route des Mille et une Histoires Inc. is a non-profit organization. “The organization has created a stage show in which history, humor and fantasy come together to introduce the population and tourists to the rich history of the Maria-Chapdelaine RCM.”
The organization will be granted financial assistance from the Government of Canada in the form of a $166,500 non-repayable contribution.
La Route des Mille et une Histoires Inc. will use the financial assistance to purchase and build stage equipment that will raise its quality, and thus the reputation of its productions.
“Our Government remains focused on four priorities, as outlined by the Prime Minister, that Canadian care most about” their families, the safety of our streets and communities, their pride in being a citizen of this country, and, of course, their personal financial security,” Minister Lebel concluded.

Government of Canada invests in the organization Cap-des-Rosiers Recreational Committee

The Honourable Denis Lebel, Minister of Transport, Infrastructure and Communities and Minister of the Econommic Development Agency of Canada for the Regions of Quebec, announced that the organization Cap-des-Rosiers Recreational Committee has received financial assistance.
“By supporting the project to renovate the Cap-des-Rosiers sports chalet, the Government of Canada is delivering on its commitment to improve the quality of life in our communities,” said Minister Lebel.
The organization will receive financial assistance in the form of a $21,000 non-repayable contribution.

Government of Canada invests in the firm Sercovie Inc.

The Honourable Denis Lebel, Minister of Transport, Infrastructure and Communities and Minister of the Economic Development Agency of Canada for the Regions of Quebec, announced that the firm Sercovie Inc. will be receiving financial assistance.

The organization Sercovie Inc. will use the financial assistance to expand and renovate its facilities.

Sercovie Inc. “plays an important role in promoting the adoption of a healthy lifestyle, active and rewarding those 50 years and older. It also helps homecare for seniors and persons with loss of autonomy.”

“Our Government is pleased to support infrastructure projects across the country like the Sercovie community centre,” said Minister Lebel.

The organization will be granted financial assistance in the form of a $351,250 non-repayable contribution.
